THANK YOU
VivaTango thanks all of you who support the Tango community by attending our events. As a not-for-profit group, your admission payments go directly to the Tango community. The instructors, performers, musicians and DJs thank you for your support. VivaTango’s mission is to provide the best events for you in order to sustain this cycle that supports the Tango community that you enjoy. This is how we can attract the best international and local talent to make the events that you enjoy. Volunteers are the key to making all this successful. VivaTango and the Tango community value our volunteers. We hope you value them also. If you would be willing to join our volunteer team, please contact Sylvie. Sylvie is currently looking for additional volunteers to help on the clean-up team. Clean-up is done by a group of 3 persons, and it requires staying until about 11:30.

September 22nd Claudio Morsella plays live music for your dancing pleasure. He will be accompanied by vocalist Melissa Wrolstad. We heard glowing reviews of these musicians from DimOn the Tango DJ, who will play tandas between live sets. DimOn plays wonderful tandas that capture the smoothness and emotion of Tango. Milonga starts at 7 PM. Cost $20. EVENT LINK

ARGENTINE TANGO BASIS CLASS

This is a six-week class for beginners, dancers who want to improve their basic skills and dancers who want to learn the opposite role. It will be taught by Pablo Garcia Gomez and Iwona Ionescu on the same dance floor VivaTango uses. The classes are sponsored by the Princeton Adult School on Tuesdays. Click Here for details of dates, times and cost.

SAFETY

Our events require showing proof of full vaccination. You only have to show proof on your first visit. We also remind dancers that they should not come if they have any symptoms or have been exposed to people who have Covid. Masks are recommended, but optional. For dancers who are not able to be vaccinated, they will be admitted if they have had a negative result from a PCR test in the past 72 hours or an antigen quick test in the past 24 hours.

WATER

We urge dancers to bring their water bottle from home. We no longer have access to a refrigerator to cool water before events. There is a chilled water fountain next to the bathroom to refill your water bottles with chilled water. We will continue to provided bottled water for dancers, but it is room temperature.
