The surgery outcome means that Warren will soon be able to dance until dawn and still have energy remaining. Keep his recovery in your prayers. Warren has been the lead person on the Thursday clean up team. That team can use extra help during Warren’s recovery period. Anyone willing to help please contact Sylvie . Thursday October 27th Milonga with Live Music

Thursday November 3rd Los Ocampo. Tango legends Mónica Romero and Omar Ocampo will teach and perform at VivaTango. Their motto is “dancing around the world”, which they have done for two decades as the lead dancers of their own traveling Tango Dance Company, Tango Bravo and as part of other international shows including The Carlos Copes Tango Show, and Tango Pasión. They divide their time between teaching at their schools around the world, touring widely and performing at prestigious international venues. They are also official judges at the annual International Tango Championships in Argentina and other international competitions. Their charismatic stage presence and personalities combined with their elegant style, creativity and extensive knowledge make them hugely popular with audiences and students alike. MayOk (aka Urszula), our international traveling DJ has arranged to bring these Tango legends to VivaTango, and she will complete the event playing her popular tandas for the milonga.

ARGENTINE TANGO BASICS CLASS

This is a six-week class for beginners, dancers who want to improve their basic skills and dancers who want to learn the opposite role. It will be taught by Pablo Garcia Gomez and Iwona Ionescu on the same dance floor VivaTango uses. The classes are sponsored by the Princeton Adult School on Tuesdays. Click Here for details of dates, times and cost.

SAFETY

Our events require showing proof of full vaccination. You only have to show proof on your first visit. We also remind dancers that they should not come if they have any symptoms or have been exposed to people who have Covid. Masks are recommended, but optional. For dancers who are not able to be vaccinated, they will be admitted if they have had a negative result from a PCR test in the past 72 hours or an antigen quick test in the past 24 hours.

WATER

We urge dancers to bring their water bottle from home. We no longer have access to a refrigerator to cool water before events. There is a chilled water fountain next to the bathroom to refill your water bottles with chilled water.

Tango Partner App is a must have tool to find milongas and partners while traveling anywhere in the world.

Thanks for dancing at VivaTango. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions please email me at Dennis
