Dec 20 HOLIDAY PARTY Live music by Maurizio Najt on piano, Javier Sanchez on bandonone and John DeCesare on base. Roberto and Jacklyn DJing. Jacklyn will add a song to the musical evening. Scrumptious food and beverage tables. Taxi dancers will be provided. Milonga will end with a toast to the New Year! Dress in your best party cloths.

Intermediate Argentine Tango 8 week progressive series by Pablo and Iwoan. Thursdays at 7 PM before VivaTango Dec 13, 20, 27, Jan 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. This course is an independent workshop for anyone who would like to move beyond their basic tango skills. This course teaches transitions from fundamental steps to more complex movements and sequences. No partner is required. Cost is $160. Four-time US Tango Championships finalists, Jacklyn Shapiro and Roberto Pena will teach a lesson on “Developing salon combinations featuring sacadas ”. A milonga will follow the lesson.

Composer, arranger, guitarist and music teacher. Graduated from the “School of Music of Buenos Aires” (2006), there he joined the Tango Orchestra of that institution. He continued his studies at the “National Academy of Tango” (2009) with the great Maestro Anibal Arias. He was part of the 3rd Campus of Contemporary Guitar, dictated jointly by important teachers as Quique Sinesi and Carlos Moscardini among others. Currently he is studying a degree in Music Composition at the National University of Arts (Argentina). He has toured throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Composer, arranger, guitar player. Graduated from the Conservatory of Chascomús (Buenos Aires), he completed studies with Eduardo Pertusi. He continued his studies at the “National Academy of Tango” (2009) with the great Maestro Anibal Arias. He has participated in several seminars and master classes both in Brazil and Uruguay in 2007 and 2008. He studied harmony and composition in SADAIC (Buenos Aires) by Maestro Juan Carlos Cirigliano between 2012 and 2014. In recent years, he has toured throughout the European continent.
