   emilio_sollaEmilio Solla is a Grammy Nominated Argentina born and NY based pianist & composer. Frequent performer at the Zink Bar in NYC and has performed at Lincoln Center. His first band, Apertura, was praised by Astor Piazzolla himself as one of the most interesting new sounds in the Buenos Aires scene in 1986.

Pablo Lanouguere is an Argentina born Electric and Double Bass performer. He has Pablo Lanouguere (2)toured the USA performing with Alejandro Ziegler Quartet and has played in New York City with musicians such as Frank Perowsky, Raul Jaurena, Emilio Solla, Kayo Hiraki, among others.

Wendy Zoffer is a versatile flautist. She is the Founder/Director of the respected WendyStanding2company, Princeton Music Connection, which provides live bands for events in the New York Metropolitan Area and nationally.  Prince Tango will be featuring songs from her CD Bird of Beauty, (on sale at the Princeton Record Exchange and Amazon and CDbaby.com) adapted for the Tango.

JACKLYN SHAPIRO

Jacklyn along together with Roberto Peña were Third Place Champions in the 2016 USA Tango Chanpionships in the Stage Tango category. Jacklyn is also the owner of the Adorno Dancewear Boutique. Antón Gazenbeek – Tango instructor, performer, choreographer and historian. Anton has taught, performed and choreographed on five continents He is one of the leading experts in Argentine Tango and has lectured at Stanford University, Harvard, MIT, Juilliard School, the Argentine Embassy in Washington, D.C. and across North and South America, Asia and Europe. He has published the first two books in a series of four on the history of Tango. In addition to his dance career he is a fashion model for Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Calvin Klein, AX – Armani Exchange, Abercrombie & Fitch, Andrew Christian Swimwear.

Jody P. Gazenbeek- has thrilled audiences with his tango performances from Paris to Berlin, and from Trinidad to NYC.  Jody often performs with the world renowned Anton Person-Gazenbeek.  They have performed together at The Goldcoast Ballroom, The Black and White Ball, All Night Milonga, The Ball NY, and major dance studios in NY and NJ.  With his female partner Svetlana Keselman, Jody performed at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, NJ in Vaudeville at the Broadway.  On March 21, 2015 he performed at The National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs, NY for the opening exhibition of the 125 Years of Tango, A Walk Through the History of the Dance.

VivaTango strives to layout the best food and beverage tables for all its events. We have had several great chefs who did this for us in the past. David and Dennis have done this now for the past few years. Our average number of dancers have doubled during this time, and we now want to go to a two person team to do the food each week. So we looking for two Tango Heros to be our food persons.  This team would jointly buy the food each week and set it up at the Suzanne Paterson Building. He was the youngest competitor to ever win a World Tango Competition. A generous teacher, Sebastian is well loved by students, everywhere. He tours constantly teaching and performing at the most prestigious tango festivals in Europe, Asia and around the globe. Joana Fernandes Gomez, Sebastian’s wife and new dance partner, has been involved in the creation of dance performances, for many years. Host a World Champion for a week in July.
A main goal of Viva Tango Inc. is to support Argentine Tango artists. In lieu of that we call you, our patrons, to help in a special opportunity came our way via Vittoria and Guillermo, to host a World Champion and wife; Sebastian Jimenez & Joana, one week of accommodations and meals, plus privates booked by the host or Viva, whichever is easier. Vittoria & Guillermo will help promote them and the privates. Sebastian and Joana would perform at Viva, either on July 7 or 14. More details will follow.
