Thursday, July 23rd. Emiliano Messiez is a Latin Grammy Nominee pianist and composer. With a very versatile and personal sound, he is the founder and director of the Orchestra Típica Messiez, a 10-piece tango orchestra. He has performed all around the world in venues such as The Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Museum of New York and The Houston Opera Theater, among others.

Emilia has written original music and recorded multiple albums that showcase his unique artistic vision. DJ Kerry Kay is back in NJ for a short time, while travelling and living around the world. She will charm us with her wonderful tango music selections to compliment the live music sets.

8:30 pm: First live music set with Emiliano Messiez.

Thursday, July 30th. Robin Thomas and Dagny Miller are hosting our milonga tonight. They have been teaching together at Yale Tango Club for five years. Dagny organizes the very popular annual Abrazos Tango Festival in NYC. She is highly sought after tango teacher and has travelled and performed throughout the USA.

Robin has been teaching and DJ-ing tango for 23 years, he taught tango in Princeton for 17 years and is known for growing the tango communities in several universities, specifically in New York City. This is Robin’s last appearance at Viva Tango before he moves to South-East Asia. Robin Thomas will also be the DJ this evening.

7:00 pm: Lesson with Robin and Dagny.
8:15 pm: Milonga with DJ Robin Thomas.

VivaTango continues to need help to make events run smoothly. Setup only takes a little time and you do not miss any milonga time. The same is true about cleanup. DIRECTIONS
VivaTango is located at 45 Stockton Street, Princeton New Jersey. There is a well-lit, off-street parking lot at the venue. The large dance floor is in the smaller of the two buildings. The venue is easily accessed by rail from NYC and Philly. Just get a ticket to Princeton (not Princeton Junction. You get off the train at Princeton Junction and take the connecting shuttle train to Princeton.) The venue is 8 blocks from the Princeton Train Station with a lovely walk through the Princeton University Campus (0.8 mi.) MAP
