We urge dancers to bring their water bottle from home to cut down on single use bottles. There is a chilled water fountain and a cold/hot water dispenser that you can use to refill your water bottle or get a drink to keep you hydrated.

There will be no event at VivaTango this Thursday July 3rd. Celebrate you freedom on this National July 4th Holiday.

Historically, tango emerged as an outlet for persons seeking freedom and self-expression from the restrictive governmental and societal norms in Argentina. Tango is a celebration of freedom. Read on…….

The tango is more than a dance; it’s a dynamic conversation where freedom of movement and emotion intertwine, offering a liberating experience to all on the dance floor. The essence of this freedom is Tango’s emphasis on improvisation. Split-second decisions are made, in the moment, creating a unique narrative with every step. Each tango encounter is a fleeting moment of freedom that defies control or replication and where freedom is found in the passion and connection between dancers.

You have the freedom to choose were to spend your Tango moments. VivaTango is thankful for your support. We are here for you every Thursday.

Information on all events is in the flyers that follow.

Summer arrived during last Thursday’s event. Summer brought several wonderful new dancers visiting VivaTango on their vacation. They were from Montreal, Maimi and other cities. There are always interesting persons to talk with and dance with. That was part of the Magic that Happens Every Thursday at VivaTango. Helen and Thomas will bring some of the Magic this coming Thursday.

This Thursday, June 26th Helen Wang and Thomas Archambault will host the milonga. Their teaching is always well done, and they will be around to dance with you during the milonga. Helen’s DJing has been highly praised.

DON’T miss this event because there is no event on the following Thursday – July 3rd. Enjoy our Fourth of July Independence Day Holliday. Save traveling for those of you traveling on this holiday, and Happy Dancing.
