Four-time US Tango Championships finalists, Jacklyn Shapiro and Roberto Pena will teach a workshop on “Developing simple to complex variations for tango salon”. A Milonga with special performances by Roberto and Jacklyn and the Gala Showcase Dancers.

Maurizio Najt, Piano, is a graduate of the Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Buenos Aires. He performed with “Amigos del Tango”; Forever Tango Orchestra; New York Tango Trio and other groups. Maurizio has performed in Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall, Winter Garden, Philadelphia Kimmel Center, and the Argentine Embassy in Washington DC and Tokyo. ”
John DeCeasar – Bass, studied with the great bassist/ composer/ arranger, Pablo Aslan. John DeCesare has performed Argentine Tango at many milongas, concerts and cultural events has performed with many tango contemporaries like Hector del Curto, Fernando Otero and Tito Castro.

Paulita and Michael met at a famous Milonga in Buenos Aires in December 2017. After just a few tandas together, their chemistry on the dance floor was so remarkably unique, that a creative and dynamic partnership was born. They will be performing and teaching in tango communities across the globe – UK, Germany, Latvia, Russia, Argentina and Italy.
Michael Nadtochi introduces Paulita to VivaTango dancers. Paulita is a master of elegant tango. Come see them in performance in Princeton. The workshop on “Variations of ocho w/sacadas and ladie’s adornments” will feature Paulita’s special skills.

Composer, arranger, guitarist and music teacher. Graduated from the “School of Music of Buenos Aires” (2006), there he joined the Tango Orchestra of that institution. He continued his studies at the “National Academy of Tango” (2009) with the great Maestro Anibal Arias. He was part of the 3rd Campus of Contemporary Guitar, dictated jointly by important teachers as Quique Sinesi and Carlos Moscardini among others. Currently he is studying a degree in Music Composition at the National University of Arts (Argentina). He has toured throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Composer, arranger, guitar player. Graduated from the Conservatory of Chascomús (Buenos Aires), he completed studies with Eduardo Pertusi. He continued his studies at the “National Academy of Tango” (2009) with the great Maestro Anibal Arias. He has participated in several seminars and master classes both in Brazil and Uruguay in 2007 and 2008. He studied harmony and composition in SADAIC (Buenos Aires) by Maestro Juan Carlos Cirigliano between 2012 and 2014. In recent years, he has toured throughout the European continent.
Michael Nadtochi has been a professional dancer for more than two decades. His vast dance experience consists of performing, competing, choreographing and educating dancers and professionals all over the world. For the past 14 years Michael focused entirely on performing and teaching the art of Argentine Tango. He has traveled the world, took part in major international tango festivals where he taught and performed at some of the most spectacular venues. Germany, Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Cyprus, Malaysia, Canada, Scotland are among the countries that he visited as special guests and performing artist. He has taught and performed in the major tango festivals in the USA, and he has been one of the dancers at Malbec & Tango House NYC – the first authentic nightly Argentine Tango show produced in USA.
