Modern music has rap artists, and Tango has Wrap Artists. This week learn about “Sweet and Gentle Wraps”. Wraps are the Kodak moment in a Tango dance. The lesson will teach how to be a wrapper or wrapee. A milonga Djed by Dmitri will follow the lesson. Iwona and Pablo will provide a guided practica after the lesson for those dancers wanting help in mastering the lesson.

Pablo, who is originally from the suburbs of Buenos Aires, has studied tango with various master teachers in his home country and in the United States. Iwona explored a few other forms of dance before taking up tango, which she has studied in depth and practiced locally. Pablo and Iwona teach the Argentine tango classes at Princeton Adult School and they teach regularly at Viva Tango in Princeton, where they are artists in residence.

Composer, arranger, guitarist and music teacher. Graduated from the “School of Music of Buenos Aires” (2006), there he joined the Tango Orchestra of that institution. He continued his studies at the “National Academy of Tango” (2009) with the great Maestro Anibal Arias. He was part of the 3rd Campus of Contemporary Guitar, dictated jointly by important teachers as Quique Sinesi and Carlos Moscardini among others. Currently he is studying a degree in Music Composition at the National University of Arts (Argentina). He has toured throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
Composer, arranger, guitar player. Graduated from the Conservatory of Chascomús (Buenos Aires), he completed studies with Eduardo Pertusi. He continued his studies at the “National Academy of Tango” (2009) with the great Maestro Anibal Arias. He has participated in several seminars and master classes both in Brazil and Uruguay in 2007 and 2008. He studied harmony and composition in SADAIC (Buenos Aires) by Maestro Juan Carlos Cirigliano between 2012 and 2014. In recent years, he has toured throughout the European continent.
Michael Nadtochi has been a professional dancer for more than two decades. His vast dance experience consists of performing, competing, choreographing and educating dancers and professionals all over the world. For the past 14 years Michael focused entirely on performing and teaching the art of Argentine Tango. He has traveled the world, took part in major international tango festivals where he taught and performed at some of the most spectacular venues. Germany, Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Cyprus, Malaysia, Canada, Scotland are among the countries that he visited as special guests and performing artist. He has taught and performed in the major tango festivals in the USA, and he has been one of the dancers at Malbec & Tango House NYC – the first authentic nightly Argentine Tango show produced in USA.
