Thursday, October 24th. Oleg and Lena Mashkovich are well known in Buenos Aires and in USA as experienced (23+ years) Argentine Tango dancers, teachers, performers, and DJ. They teach Tango with respect to the authentic roots of this unique culture, following old tradition, and exploring new technique and flavors, combining them and giving the resulting style their own personality. Oleg and Lena participated in the prestigious Argentine Tango competitions, always becoming finalists, and recently taking a second place in the Dutch Open Competition. Harvey Schwartz is returning to Viva Tango as our guest DJ from DC.
7:00 pm: All levels lesson – Modifying linear movements into circular.
8:15 pm: Milonga, featuring a performance by Oleg and Lena.

Thursday, October 31st. Our Halloween milonga will feature Live Music by acoustic guitar duo of Claudio Morsella and Eran Polat. They return to perform at Viva Tango by popular demand. Their mastery of guitar and mutual synergy create very danceable and exciting tango music for our enjoyment. Dancers are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costume and contribute to the fun atmosphere. DJ Dimon will play his best tango selections and scary cortinas before, between, and after the two live music sets. Milonga starts at 7:00 pm with Dimon playing frightening tandas.
First live music set starts around 8:30 pm.
Admission $20.

FREE EVENTS FOR VOLUNTEERS
VivaTango continues to need help to make events run smoothly. Setup only takes a little time and you do not miss any milonga time. The same is true about cleanup. Working on the welcome desk is a great way to get to know your fellow dancers. The hero of the night is the person who brings the food for the event. If you can help contactSylvie
WATER
We urge dancers to bring their water bottle from home to cut down on single use bottles. There is a chilled water fountain and a cold/hot water dispenser that you can use to refill your water bottle or get a drink to keep you hydrated.
