On Thursday August 31st we will celebrate the blue supermoon in the sky. Blue supermoons are rare. The next one will be in 2032. Our Blue Moon Milonga will feature live music by the Los Chantas, who are a multinational tango quartet from New York City composed of Emilio Teubal on piano, Sergio Reyes on violin, David Hodges on bandoneon and Pablo Lanouguere on bass. Four of the best tango musicians. Their repertoire includes original arrangements of songs by Gardel, Troilo, Salgán, Piazzolla, and others performed in a playful, improvised style. Los Chantas infuses classic tangos with new life and unique flavor. Milonga starts at 7 PM with music by our DJ, and Live music starts at 8:30 PM. $20   EVENT LINK

Thursday September 7th will feature Luciano Capparelli and Rocío de los Santos, stars of the Tango Fire traveling Tango Show. The New York Times review of the TANGO FIRE performance in NYC said “No couple, however, was as beautifully lavish as Luciano Capparelli and Rocío de los Santos. In each of their tangos, tension gave way to voluptuous softness and powerful overhead lifts melted onto the floor in silken extensions. As the title goes, they were on fire.” DJ Guillermo Elkouss returns to VivaTango. He was an instructor and DJ at the beginning of VivaTango 12 years ago. All levels lesson 7:00, Milonga 8:15, Performance 9:30. Lesson $15, Milonga $15, Both $20.
