Viva Tango hosting an exciting evening with Cristian Correa & Leah Barsky – world tango champions –  Workshop, Performance and Practica.

Doors Open @ 8 PM

8:15pm –  9:15pm  Workshop on Walking, Posture and Embrace (all levels) – techniques to be on your axis and connect with your partner.

10:15 – Performance by Cristian & Leah

9:15 – 12pm – Practica, Socializing + Food by Chef Selection

Viva Tango Inc.‘s events are EVERY THURSDAY at the Suzanne Patterson Building, 45 Stockton St, Princeton. Dance on one of the best & largest wooden dancing floor. Mingle with other Tangueras & Tangueros and enjoy tasty foods at our food table. Off-street parking at the entrance and great AC system. No partner necessary. Cost $15 (Students $5).

Cristian Correa, born in Cordoba, Argentina and Leah Barsky, born in Germany will be teaching and performing at VivaTango Thursday May 26th. They have performed tango throughout U.S, Asia, Canada, Europe, Chile and Argentina. They have danced in the most renowned tango shows in Argentina, including Esquina Carlos Gardel, Tango Porteño, Querandi Tango and Hotel Faena’s “Rojo Tango”.  Christian is a highly sought out teacher and performer known for his unique style and dynamic presence. Leah is also an accomplished gymnast, model and ballet dancer and has danced at Lincoln Center and the Metropolitan Opera. The New York Times raved that Ms. Barsky is “sensual, direct and… the most compelling” performer.
Together, they placed 5th at the ‘Mundial’, World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires last year.

A main goal of Viva Tango Inc. is to support Argentine Tango artists. In lieu of that we call you, our patrons, to help in a special opportunity came our way viaVittoria and Guillermo, to host a World Champion and wife; Sebastian Jimenez & Joana, one week of accommodations and meals, plus privates booked by the host or Viva, whichever is easier. Vittoria & Guillermo will help promote them and the privates. Sebastian and Joana would perform at Viva, either on July 7 or 14. More details will follow.
